UNDP Indonesia’s mission is to be an agent for change in the human and social development of Indonesia, to be a bridge between Indonesia and all donors as well as a trusted partner to all stakeholders. It works in four key areas of development: Government Reforms, Pro-Poor Policy Reforms, Conflict Prevention and Recover, and Environment Management, with the overarching aim of reducing poverty in Indonesia.
Currently, UNDP together with the Directorate General of Electricity and Energy Utilization are in the process of running a Full Scale GEF-funded project entitled Integrated Micro-hydro Development and Application Program (IMIDAP).
The IMIDAP information networking and exchange service will be facilitated by the National Microhydro Network through the Mini Microhydro Clearing House (MMCH). This will involve the development and establishment of a system of reporting and data gathering through the information flow and coordination structure. This will also develop of a microhydro website as focal point for internet-based information exchange system and abstracting of relevant articles from scientific and engineering journals on microhydro energy technology.
The IMIDAP will strengthen MMCH to optimally serve the microhydro sector and focus on the design of the business plan and the sustainability plan. In this regard, the GEF exit strategy may not even be necessary. It will involve increasing the relevance of the MMCH and in improving the delivery of its services by setting up a support knowledge management system and information network, evaluation and improvement of the clearing house and “One-stop Shop”. The MMCH business plan will be prepared and a renewed mandate issued for building the capacity for its services and the staff involved.
For running of the project, a qualified candidate of webmaster is required to fill a position as an administrator and make website up to date and assisting with design changes as necessary (National).
Duties and Responsibilities
Under the guidance and supervision of the Project Manager and Team Leader, the webmaster has to perform and/or supervise advanced web page structure and design duties in all IMIDAP activities.
Characteristic Duties and Responsibilities :
1. Sets web site standards for content, accuracy, timeliness, and design
2. Configures/Administ ers web servers
3. Manages web site
4. Responsible for monitoring compliance with standards and web content
5. Develops, recommends and implements project management procedures for creating, updating, maintaining and administrating web sites
6. Coordinates with other IMIDAP personel to effect changes in the content, quality and style of the web site or graphic art material
7. Attends meetings associated with web site
8. May supervise lower level staff
9. Performs the duties of the Web Specialist series as required
10. Performs other related duties as assigned Team Leader and National Project Manager
Impact of Results
The key results have an impact on the overall efficiency of the IMIDAP Program operations including improved business results and client services for Microhydro Information System.

Education:
* Bachelor degree in information system, computer science , programming, and other related fields.
Experience:
* More than five years of related experience that demonstrates the ability to conduct a webmaster.
* Experience with programming, in utilizing various software programs and managing a website.
* Updated on the renewable energy news and including microhydro policy information.
* Updated knowledge on, various webmaster projects on micro-hydro development and applications, with experience in the project as an asset.
Language Requirements:
* Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
